Childs Medical Clinic Receives Nation’s First Fundings within CMS Medicare Pathway. Carrollton,Ga. – Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc. announced today that Childs Medical Clinic of Samson, Ala. received the nation’s first payments of meaningful use incentive funds within the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Stage 1 meaningful use Medicare incentives program. For the Medicare incentives, Childs Medical Clinic satisfied reporting requirements of quality measures and allowables after registering for the program March 15 and attesting April 19 upon the opening of the attestation process. Childs Medical Clinic received $18,000 for its attesting eligible professional (EP) Hayden Childs, MD, having satisfied the 90-continuous days of meaningful use reporting merged with allowable tracking to achieve the incentives thresholds. “We are very happy at Childs Medical Clinic to experience this milestone.
