BOSTON, Mass. (Jan. 10, 2011)-Noteworthy Medical Systems, Inc., announced today that NetPracticeEHRweb™(version 7.02.0) was certified (Certification #IG-2351-10-0014) on December 29, 2010 as a Complete EHR by InfoGard Laboratories, an Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Noteworthy Medical Systems, Inc. is a subsidiary of CompuGroup Medical that serves physician practices throughout the U.S. with advanced technology solutions and support. The 2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 Meaningful Use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
“We didn’t rush to certification-we were deliberate in our approach in order to produce clinical technology that fully supports physicians’ workflow and ease of use, resulting in a very intuitive product,” said Rick Mullins, president and CEO of Noteworthy. “Of course, we’re proud that NetPracticeEHRweb has been affirmed as a comprehensive EHR solution that successfully meets the highest standards, but we take even greater pride knowing that NetPracticeEHRweb makes our clients successful with powerful yet friendly technology.
When combined with Noteworthy Medical Systems’ integrated NetPracticePM, users gain a complete EHR-Practice Management suite-all from one business partner. The suite goes beyond equipping users to fulfill federal Meaningful Use requirements by providing optimized physician office workflow and processes that meet today’s needs and anticipate tomorrow’s. Noteworthy’s NetPractice suite includes an extensive list of add-on modules for care coordination, patient-physician communication and business management needs for any practice size in any specialty.
In addition to NetPracticeEHRweb, CompuGroup Medical also offers Alteer Office® 8.0, a fully integrated SaaS-based (Software as a Service) EHR/PM product, which is a pre-market CCHIT Certified® 2011 Ambulatory EHR by Visionary Healthware, also a CompuGroup Medical subsidiary.
Gerhard Schütz, CEO of CompuGroup Medical USA, added, “CompuGroup Medical USA offers a selection of EHR/PM options for ambulatory care providers to improve their patient care processes and equip them for new care coordination models.”
The ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification program tests and certifies that Complete EHRs meet all of the 2011/2012 criteria and EHR Modules meet one or more-but not all-of the criteria approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) for either eligible provider or hospital technology. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of incentive payments.
